Question: I already struggle with finances, how can I afford to pay for a coach?
Answer: This is a great question! At Take the Leap, we believe that the tools we will provide you with will not only last you in the short term, but for the rest of your life. Although there is a cost associated with our services, the potential savings you can reap over the course of your lifetime by utilizing our strategies makes our offerings nearly priceless.
Question: I’ve worked with a coach before and didn’t have success. What makes this time different and why should I trust you?
Answer: We are sorry to hear that previous coaches haven’t worked out. However, we are happy that you are here now and have found us, because we are confident that we have the tools that will allow you to be successful in getting your finances under control.
Question: How long will I need financial coaching?
Answer: Every person, family, situation is different and unique and therefore requires varying coaching timeframes. In generals our services are as short as 1 month to 1 year plus.
Question: Are you a financial advisor?
Answer: We are not financial advisors. Typically, financial advisors work heavily in financial investments (stock and bond offerings, life insurance, etc.). Our focus is the behavioral aspect of your finances and overcoming challenges associated with spending, budgeting, savings, etc. for the betterment of your current financial situation.
Question: I don’t make enough money. Is this program right for me?
Answer: Every person or couple will receive a free 15 minute introductory call with a Take the Leap coach to get an initial and basic understanding of your finances. There is a possibility that financial coaching is not right for you now. If that’s the case, we will recommend some initial steps that may be needed, prior to moving forward with a paid session.
Question: Are the coaching sessions done in person? What if I don’t live near you?
Answer: No (in most cases). Coaching sessions will be done via Zoom video conference or over the phone (if preferred instead). If the client is local to the Denver area and would like to meet in person, we can accommodate.
Question: What is the cost of your services?
Answer: Variable, depending upon duration and your specific needs and goals (i.e. 1 month up to 1 year plus).
Question: Are you available nights and weekends? I work all week and it’s hard to schedule, unless I take time off from work.
Answer: Absolutely. We can be flexible to the needs of your schedule. For nights and weekend scheduling, let us know and we will make it work.
Question: I’m in a lot of debt, how will I ever get out and start saving?
